Shahla Sarfaraz is an energetic and effective professional with 20 years of experience and a proven track record of success in the field of education and childhood counseling. Her career has spanned multiple disciplines and professional positions including 15 years as a middle-school teacher for gifted children as well as 3 years as the principal of Koroush Kabir School in Iran. She has served on the board of the Lions Club for three years and is a founder and current president of the National University of Iran Alumni and Faculty Association (NUIAF). Ms. Sarfaraz earned her Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Melli University of Iran in 1974 and received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Trabiat Moallem University in 1979. Shahla immigrated to the United States in 1982 and is currently working as a successful real-estate agent in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
